Hello again,

I know that Theo de Kreijger has given you the names of the artists by e-mail, but I don't know what else he has told you about your prints. Anyway here are a few pieces of information:

#1
Artist: Keisai Eisen (1790-1848)
Censor's seal: Kiwame
Publisher: ?

#2
Artist: Kikugawa Eizan (1787-1867)
Publisher: Sanoya Kihei

#3
Artist: Toyokuni III (a k a Kunisada, 1786-1864)
Date seal: 10th month of 1860
Publisher: Iseya Kanekichi
The print is the left panel of a triptych, and it depicts the actor Sawamura Tanosuke III in the role of Yaoya Oshichi.

#4
Artist: Kunisada II (1823-1880)
Date: ca 1860
Publisher: Aito
This print also happens to be the left panel of a triptych, belonging to a series with the title "Shiki keshiki no uchi" (Sceneries of the four seasons). The subject of this particular triptych, with the subtitle "Aki" (Autumn), is a scene from chapter 12 in "Genji monogatari" (The Tale of Genji), "Evening moonshine in Suma".

Best regards,
Hans Olof
