Toning

I recently bought a pillar print from the 1770s that is quite toned but shows excellent color. I'd like to reduce the toning but not at the expense of the color. Considering its appearance, some loss of color (10-20%) might be acceptable if detoning would bring out the colors better. My impression is that some restorers might be able to achieve an acceptable result but haven't done anything yet.

I'd welcome recommendations from doing nothing to addresses of specialists.
