In addition to the prints I mentioned below, you also might find interesting the discussion of Utamaro's influence on Mary Cassatt, a famous American Impressionist painter who worked in Paris in the late 1800s.
Mary Cassatt was very influenced by Utamaro's prints of domestic scenes and women with children. Both Mary Cassatt's and Utamaro's prints of this nature are illustrated and compared in a Chapter called "Mary Cassatt" in:
"The Great Wave: The Influence of Japanese Woodcuts on French Prints" by Colta Feller Ives.
