I spent the last several days on the internet trying to find some info on this book.
It is AN Illustrated Guide Book to the Famous Places of Japan copyright 1892. It has about 40 Woodblock prints in it. If I understand correctly they have the artist seal on them but not a signature on them. It was written by Takahisa Shizuki. It lists the engraver as T Goto and the printer as T. Tamura and publisher as S Nakagawa and Meikosha. It is hard bound 7" by 10" some of the prints are fold outs.
Does anyone have any information on this book or can you direct me to a site that might. This is a pic of two of the prints. The darkening on the left is my scanner issue not a print issue.
