Barbara, I am surprised at the lack of mica, although there is some variation in its later use. Please check your copy with a magnifying glass to make certain you cannot see the tiny dots that mark a photolithographic reproduction - there are some out there of this design. The first edition has a different red seal stamp and only three black signature characters above it. In my experience condition affects resale value, but not enjoyment....
