I have two very small and very old shunga prints. I don't know anything about them. The smaller one measures 13cm by 10cm.
The man is not bold and has a moustache. He is wearing black clothes and is on top of a woman with his penis inside her
vagina. They are sharing a blue blanket. The woman is wearing dark blue and purple clothes. She has a blue striped blanket
around her upper body and it is also underneath her head. There is no writing what so ever on this print. The second one is a
little bigger and has a lot of writing on it which I have no idea about its meaning. There is a very prominate symbol which is
circled, the symbol looks to be katakana. This picture looks to be a bold at the top of the head samurai perhaps (without his
weapons of course). He wears a grey gown and again his penis is inside the woman's vagina. The woman has one hand on her
vagina as if she is trying to open it more (or perhaps she is rubbing her clitoris). The woman is wearing a red gown and her hair
is very neat with a lot of hair pieces which look like chopsticks. There is a white and read patterned mat on the floor. The print
measures 12cm by 18cm. Can anyone please tell me something about them? They look very old. If you could help me my e-mail
is: WoodblockPrints@hotmail.com I would really appreciate any opinions. Thank you.
